The Woodfern School in Hillsborough Township is the site of the CRCofA Wednesday Night Time Trials and Thursday Night Handicapped Training Rides. Some other events may be held at this venue as well, and it is often used for club members to meet up for ad-hoc group training rides. There is generally plenty of parking available, but if school is in session, or an event is taking place at the school, there is parking available in the gravel parking lot for the ball fields, next to the school parking lot.
Otto’s Farm Park
This location in Hillsborough Township is used for CRCofA Cyclocross events, plus as the main parking for other rides, such as the Long Hill Handicapped Training Ride, Club Championship Training Series, Club Championship and 3-in-1 Hill Climb. There is generally plenty of parking available in the parking lot.
Duke Island Park
This location in Bridgewater Township is the start/finish of the New Year’s Day ‘Sober Up’ ride and the Poker Ride. In addition, this venue is sometimes used for other CRCofA events, such as the Metric Century and Belgium Day rides. There is generally plenty of parking available in the parking lot.
The Black River Road Course
This location in Gladstone is used for just one event, the St. Patrick’s Day Black River Road Handicapped Training Ride. Parking is available at Hacklebarney State Park, Sportsman Parking Lot #4. This is not the main parking lot for Hacklebarney State Park, but rather a small secondary lot. While it is a small lot, there is generally enough room for all event participants.
The Palatine
This location in Tewskbury is used for just one club event, ‘The Palatine’ Handicapped Training Ride. We park on a residential street, on the opposite side of the street from the farm, in order to keep the road clear for local traffic and keep good relations with the local residents.
